The WCAPS Mentorship Program
The WCAPS Mentorship Program welcomed its first cohort in January 2019, with just 10 matches. Today, the program has facilitated over 265 successful mentorship matches, with more to make! The goal of the WCAPS Mentorship Program is to promote relationship building amongst our members, along with professional and personal development.
Our revamped mentorship program is an 8-week program where Mentors and Mentees will engage in weekly check-ins and interact with biweekly prompts. There will also be few program-wide meetings with the program leaders, allowing mentors and mentees to share progress and advancements to date. By the end of the program, every mentee will have the opportunity to collaborate with a mentor and create a policy paper or op-ed that is ready for publication. We look forward to welcoming you to our next cohort!
One must be a member of WCAPS to join the Mentorship Program. This program will run from November 18, 2023 to March 16, 2024. NOTE: Stay tuned for new start dates in January 2024.
Selected Fellows will be notified by December 08 , 2023.
