SWANA Difficult Conversation Series

The South West Asia & North Africa Working Group would like to invite all WCAPS members & the outside public to join us in our inaugural discussion of the Difficult Conversation Series on Wednesday, March 17th at 5:00 PM EST.

The Difficult Conversation Series aims to foster a community that does not shy away from the difficult realities of our SWANA community but faces them with a desire to create change to better impact the lives of women and other minorities in the region. In bi-weekly, open conversations on a wide range of topics, we welcome members and non-members to come together and share their diversity of ideas and viewpoints. Topics and dates will be circulated every month.

March 17, 2021:
Racism and Colorism in the region and amongst the diaspora.

April 7, 2021:
Ethno-religious identities
