WCAPS Conference 2021: Bringing Together Global Perspectives

WCAPS Conference 2021: Bringing Together Global Perspectives

The amazing WCAPS Global Leadership Team, representing Headquarters, Chapters, Working Groups, and Initiatives, are all working to bring two days of incredible events. You will have an opportunity to learn more about the many WCAPS programs and activities, as well as attend panels, trainings, presentations, and live performances.

At WCAPS, we believe global issues demand a variety of perspectives. Ambassador Bonnie Jenkins started the organization in 2017 based on her vision to create a platform devoted to women of color that cultivates a strong voice and network for its members while encouraging dialogue and strategies for engaging in policy discussions on an international scale. WCAPS includes women of color and allies who serve in the field of peace and security and who are actively working to advance the leadership and professional development of women of color in the fields of international peace, security, and conflict transformation. Through our dedication to mentorship and partnerships and our passion for changing the global community landscape, we remain committed to achieving our vision of advancing the leadership and professional development of women of color in the fields of international peace, security and conflict transformation.
