A Canadian Perspective: Women of Color in Addressing Threats from Weapons of Mass Destruction

Happy Canada Day! Please join us the WCAPS Canada Chapter at their first event! Canadian women of color will be discussing their experiences, perspectives and their role in addressing the threat from #WMD.

The panel features:

  • Sumita Dixit, Counselor and Deputy Permanent Representative to the OPCW, Embassay of Canada in the Netherlands

  • Angelica Liao-Moroz, Director, Weapons Threat Reduction Program

  • Naina Thoppil, Deputy Director, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade

The panel will be moderated by Ambassador Sabine Nolke, Former Ambassador of Canada to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Permanent Representative from Canada to the OPCW.
