ABOUT
WCAPSisOut has a unique opportunity to highlight and discuss relevant and timely issues concerning LGBTQIA+ women and gender diverse persons of color in the peace and security field, as well as the need for greater diversity of thought within the multi-faceted national security sphere. While we aim to engage in discussions and dialogue surrounding the community and our rights, our goal is to also provide a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community to convene and build a strong foundation and support for navigating the public and private sectors safely and effectively.
MISSION
WCAPSisOut is an intentionally, purpose-built platform geared towards Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, + (LGBTQIA+) women and gender diverse persons of color in the foreign policy, national security, and conflict transformation space. Our mission is to provide a space for LGBTQIA+ persons to come together, engage, and build strong relationships with others of the community. We aim to highlight accomplishments, challenges, and facilitate forward movement in ensuring our voices are heard and our rights protected.
